What's the difference between civil engineering and architecture?

Image
What's the difference between civil engineering and architecture? Architects are for planning and providing elevation of any structure/Building by which normal people can visualise the building before construction. Civil engineers design & execute the same project in reality. When it comes to Civil Engineering, my cousin completed his engineering in civil branch from @ Indore Institute of Science and Technology  (IIST). While sharing the experience he mentioned about the special interest clubs which gives exposure and support to his present work culture. A wide scope exists in the world of today for civil engineering and architecture professionals. They depend on each other and together they work on many projects. Projects may be related to the residential buildings, Skyscrapers, tunnels, roads, steel structures, etc. One point should be noted here every civil engineer can work as an architect, but for Architect ‘civil Professional’ is not his cup of tea.

How mechanical engineering related to medical science?

How mechanical engineering related to medical science? Have you heard of complex brain surgeries performed by robots in 20 minutes which once demanded 2 hours of dedicated efforts by surgeons? That’s a brief glimpse of mechanical engineering making inroads to surgical bed. Wait, I will give some more insight to help you grasp how mechanical engineering can have diverse application in medical fields. Don’t be surprised when I say mechanical engineers are fighting cancer! Chemotherapy is an extant treatment of cancer. In laymen terms, this procedure can be explained by an analogy to treat a house infested with rodents like mouse. In order to kill the mice, should you use a rat kill or should you burn the entire house? I hope you would go with the first choice. But the chemotherapy is a medical procedure in which your entire body is exposed to radiations. Drawing back an analogy from the rodent killing story, chemotherapy is like burning the entire house just to kill rats. So, an id...

Electronices and Electrical Engineer Answer 5 Fun Questions About Engineering

Image
We asked a young mechnical design engineer to answer some of the common questions engineers are asked. Wound you like to ask something ? Please leave a comment !                                1. Why did you choose to study electronics engineering? Electrical and electronic engineers work at the forefront of practical technology, improving the devices and systems we use every day. From solar-energy systems to mobile phones, we innovate to meet society's communication, tech and energy needs. Electricity is integral to modern life - power generation, transport, medicine, quantum information, computing, artificial intelligence, cryptography, communications, the list is endless. So what distinguishes electrical from electronic? Put simply, electrical engineers deal with the supply and flow of power; electronic engineers create the electronic devices we use every day. Electrical engineering is about harness...

Engineer a Path || Careers in Engineering and How to Help Your Child Get There

Careers in Engineering and How to Help Your Child Get There Is Your Son or Daughter a Designer? High School Math Requirements Science In high school, I heard about a summer program at a nearby university called "Women in Engineering," and I ended up going. I had no clue what engineering was, only that it was somehow connected with science, which I liked. Once there, I learned how to program in Fortran and then played tennis with the other girls. But I was unprepared when I enrolled in college as an engineering major. I still had little idea of what engineers did. I know more now and have been able to mentor several students, including one of my own sons, on the path to a career in engineering. Engineers make things. But they aren't construction workers or factory techs. They are the ones who design the things to be made. Sometimes they design robotic machines to automate the process. I'll never forget a How It's Made episode revealing the manufacturing steps behin...
